Phase 1 of Website Update Tonight

Quick announcement to let you know we’re beginning Phase 1 of our website transition tonight around 8pm ET. Please expect the website to be down periodically during the night as work is done. Hopefully, all will go smoothly and we’ll be ready to rock before morning!

Closing for New Submissions at Midnight 10-2

Thank you to everyone who submitted their short fiction during this open window! We have received so many great stories from a gratifyingly broad spectrum of authors.

As we continue to process and respond to the work we’ve received, we wanted to let everyone know the window is closing tonight, Friday October 2, at midnight. If you have a submission to slide in before then, don’t delay — it may be awhile before we open again!

RE: Submissions Made 9/1-9/2

PLEASE READ:

If you submitted a story anytime between 9/1 and 9/2, please assume it was NOT received. An issue with the email server (fixed by 9/3) resulted in the deletion of all submissions sent between those dates only. The issue was repaired by around midnight on 9/2 and everything has been working fine since then.

Early birds: please resend your stories sent on Tuesday, 9/1 or Wednesday, 9/2 to fictioneditor@spaceandtimemagazine.com. If you sent a story anytime after 9/2 and didn’t receive our auto-confirmation message (”Thank you for submitting to Space and Time Magazine”) please feel free to send a quick query to the same email address to confirm receipt.

Again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
